Collaboration above all
Alizée (Al-luh-zay) Carlson is a freelance Scenic Designer and Scenic Artist. She has a BA in Design/Technical Production from CSU Fullerton, where she designed and painted various productions for the school. She is also a founder of Trailblazer Student Organization, where she designs and paints their productions. She is experienced in color theory, faux finishes, and large-scale paint treatments. Her works span from model making, graphic design, watercolor, to immersive world-building with an emphasis on collaboration and detail.
Alizée places great importance in the collaborative nature of art, adoring to work with a team to create a full and lush world. With support from her family, she explored various forms of art, from ceramics, music, photography, and more. She has come to a deep appreciation of how full a world can become by not limiting oneself to a singular form of art. She found her way to the theatre after joining a Stagecraft class in order to understand how to best fill the space and fell in love with the storytelling of the theatre. Since then, she has thrown herself into learning as much as she could in order to bring life to words.
